Textures and interesting plant parts
The bark of a sycamore tree (Platanus occidentalis). I like the bark of this tree, especially against the winter sky.
Lichen growing on the sycamore trunk. Our lichens tend to be greens or grays, not the bright oranges and yellows of the ones I photographed in Arizon last February.
Walnuts that have been not so gently used. I think these are black walnut fruits.
