Leucospermum by andiwolfe
Leucospermum, a photo by andiwolfe on Flickr.

This plant has color-coding as an age indicator. The yellow flowers are the young ones, and the red have already been pollinated.

Leucospermum is one of the many genera of Proteaceae typical of the Fynbos biome in South Africa.
