Fibonacci Study
The Fibonacci series starts 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, . . .
It defines the shape of a spiral when arcs are drawn corner to corner of adjacent tiles of squares that have lengths in Fibonacci series. This spiral is abundantly found in nature and can be easily observed in plants and animals. Here's a link to the Wikepedia page that explains the series: Fibonacci number.
