Cover of The Crafts Report for May, 2006

Mike Ricci, the art director for The Crafts Report magazine sent me a digital photo of the cover, so I'm posting it here for you to see. You can check out the info about the magazine from:
The Crafts Report, May 2006 issue

I'm pretty tickled to have the cover of this magazine. The photo is by Jerry Anthony. His website is: Jerry Anthony Photography. He does great work, and I've been very pleased with the images he's done for me. Most of these will go on my website soon - I finally can continue the revision now that my data has been recovered. I have alternate views of "The Glory of Autumn No. 3" on another post in my blog: I'm a cover girl!

e - a friend of mine just got back from the Smithsonian crafts show and said that the issue was on prominent display by the entrance. To get awesome pictures, I pay an excellent professional photographer. He really knows how to capture crafts on film and digitally.

wow -- just think, seeing your work in a publication in the Smithsonian -- that is sooo joyous!

i agree; taking good pictures of 3-dimensional objects requires much skill.

Dylan's Song was purchased by David and Ruth Waterbury during the AAW's "Return to Oz" show in Kansas. From there it went on exhibit at AAW headquarters, and then was on display Jan - Mar at the Ohio Craft Museum. I just mailed it to The Center for Turning and Furniture Design at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for another exhibit. After this show closes, it's heading home to the Waterburys, who have been patiently waiting for nearly a year to have it on exhibit in their collection.
