Mirror Lake flowers

The spring time weather is much nicer to walk in than is our winter weather. I like to take a long walk around the OSU campus during my lunch hour. My usual route is about 3 miles long, and I always end it by coming down the stairs to Mirror Lake. This is a nice spot on campus where there are always flowers in bloom. In the spring there are several different cultivars of daffodils that bloom in succession over a month's time. There are also a lot of hyacinths in bloom right now, and the peonies are starting to come up. In the summer there are many varieties of hostas.

Here are two photos of this stretch of beautiful garden. The first is from the top of the stairs looking down the path. The second is from the bottom looking up toward the library.
