How AI Systems Fail the Human Test

Jack-of-all-trades, master of some pretty much describes my life. This blog has several themes: wood turning, photography, travel, science, fieldwork, family, friends, music, and miscellaneous things I encounter. I hope you enjoy it - feel free to leave a comment to let me know you've been here.
An Obair is my solo album, featuring my bandmates in Aisling, the music of O'Carolan, Irish dance tunes, some original compositions, and some nice vocals. The Pilgrim's Road is Aisling's latest CD with some great arrangements of Irish tunes, original compositions, and songs.

don't you just love summer-reading!
the only thing missing is the big shade tree and the sounds of the bugs flying around!
"The Omnivores Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals" needs a good shade tree.
bet emma is happy to see you!

I can do without the bugs, but the shade tree sounds nice. I'll have to look up the book you mentioned. Sounds perfect for a biologist.
Emma was, indeed, happy to see me. She's glad to be home - especially after catching a rabbit in the back yard this morning. I made her let it go, so she wasn't too happy with me about that. I think she'll get over it soon . . .
Andi,
I'm glad you made it home safely. Vacations are nice...but it's also nice to be home. I really appreciate your blog, checking it frequently to see what new things you're doing. It was especially nice to follow you on your vacation. I haven't had time for one of those in awhile so I enjoyed going along with you as you explored the PNW. I guess we both have to get back to work now.
Chris - thanks for your feedback on the blog. I sure enjoyed being away for a bit, but now I'm paying the piper with all the deadlines I have to catch up on at work.
