These are pictures from the beginning and end of the trip to Sydney. Alain and I started out pretty energetic, but we were ready to sleep toward the end. The first picture is Anna Dawes and I, then Alain Mailland and I on the ferry and at the quay, then I'm standing next to a totem made by an aborigine artist (it's to commemorate the early explorations of Australia, which included botanical discoveries), and then Alain and I ready to nap on the ferry ride back up the river.
