My favorite paintings are found in the Impressionist genre of Monet, Cezanne, Pizarro, etc. I've seen a lot of interesting photographs that use a technique known as "light painting" where the camera is left 'wide open' to allow light to burn patterns into the frame. Often this is at night with someone using an LED flashlight to etch a pattern onto a black background. Sometimes it's done by moving the camera. For this photo, I moved the camera while exposing the frame. I like the effect and did a whole series from a visit to Glacier Ridge Metro park yesterday afternoon. I'll post more of these images here as I find time to process them.
