Turning 2009 symposium

What's not to love? Great demonstrators, good fun, nice scenery and a weekend of woodturning! I'm taking a lot of photos, so will have some detailed postings in the near future. First I have to catch up on the Dublin Irish Festival, my trip to Mexico, and my hands-on class with Jean-François Escoulen. Hmmmmm, methinks it's been a busy month!

andi - love the picture diary of your repair work -- who takes the pictures? where did you get the ceramic block to clean your burs?

Thanks! Photos of me working are taken either by my son or husband, depending on who's available at the moment. For this repair series, both have been involved. If I'm not in the picture, the photos are taken by me. Thus, this documentary project has involved three photographers. . .

I bought the ceramic block at Treeline (www.TreelineUSA.com). It does a great job at 50K rpm or slower. I find it dulls the burs at 400K rpm.
