We saw our first Gadwall duck today. This is a male - kind of far away, but clearly identifiable.
Another new one for us was the Northern Shoveler - male and female dabbling at the base of the spillway.
I'm not sure what these two geese in front are - I put a query out on the Ohio bird forum. I'll update if someone comes up with an ID.
I finally have a better pic of a Lesser Scaup. There were hundreds of these ducks on the reservoir today.

gadwall and Northern Shoveler are very common over here. Not that i have a decent picture yet.
The geese? well i'd guess a Canada Goose has been playing with something it shouldn't, hybrid with a Greylag?
Hi Pete - I think you're right - it's probably a hybrid with a Greylag. We have a lot of feral flocks of those around here.
I looked at some of your bird pics on your blog. There are some great ones posted there.
