Usually I like to process my flower macro shots in color, but every once-in-awhile I switch to black and white processing. Actually, for this photo I did the processing first in color and then converted to black and white using Silver Efex Pro. I like the Nik software plug-ins for Aperture and do most of my "artsy" processing with these programs.

I really like this one Andi. I too am a lover of flowers in color but this gives me a chance to really concentrate on the forms and they are beautiful.
