Jack-of-all-trades, master of some pretty much describes my life. This blog has several themes: wood turning, photography, travel, science, fieldwork, family, friends, music, and miscellaneous things I encounter. I hope you enjoy it - feel free to leave a comment to let me know you've been here.

Testing the email function of my blog
If this works there should be text and a picture. The picture is of a recent project that will be on display at the Spoke in Wood exhibit at the Mansfield Art Center, June 7 - July 19, 2009.
Pete - I'll be in Nepal for three weeks sans my laptop. I don't have a solid-state hard drive that can handle the elevation I'll be at for most of that time, and I wouldn't want to worry about my computer being carried by porters at any rate. I will have intermittent access to email and can do remote blog posts during the trip. I hope I'll be able to add a picture here and there.
I'll be posting something more about the trip no later than tomorrow morning. You'll be able to follow along with our adventures.
can I ask what emailing a post gains you blog wise?
